It took many years but Sarah at long last decided that she had enough with her husband's excessive and hazardous drinking. The doctor also underlined the point that Sarah could not control her husband's behavior. With the guidance and encouragement of the rehab team at the healthcare facility, conversely, she would not only be able to learn how to stop contributing to Keith's abusive and unhealthy drinking but she could also learn how to encourage him to make an appointment at the rehab center so that he could discuss his careless drinking behavior with a doctor.

The good news was that after Sarah mentioned this to her husband and he saw that she was serious, he told her that he had been quite apprehensive about his abusive and unhealthy drinking behavior and that he was somewhat relieved to know that Sarah wanted to do something constructive about his abusive and unhealthy drinking behavior. As a result, he made an appointment to see a psychologist at the local alcohol rehab facility.

While simply calling a treatment center does not guarantee that a person's abusive and unhealthy drinking behavior will end or that a person will automatically be more receptive to learning about alcohol abuse facts, scheduling an appointment is undoubtedly a required step in the rehab process.
